This is a great opportunity for a dynamic General Manager to join a privately owned country House Hotel that has just been acquired in a stunning part of West Sussex

This will be a completely ‘Hands On’ role and will involve taking complete responsibility and ownership of the day to day running of the business which will involve accommodation, restaurant, bar and functions

As General Manager you will need to have excellent people and social skills as you will be the ‘face’ and Mine Host of the business. You will be dealing with a varied mix of people from hotel guests to local regulars of the country pub.

You will need to have a proven track record and experience of hotel management and have a complete understanding of hotel systems and procedures including P/L in order for the success of this role

Dynamic, genuine enthusiasm and passion for Hospitality and a determination to achieve results will be some of the main qualities required from the General Manager

Excellent leadership skills and the ability to solve problems effectively will be a great asset

You will have the benefit of taking a blank canvas and transforming this business to a destination venue, offering the best standards in terms of service, and raising the reputation

There will also be the benefit of working with a first class Head Chef who has recently been appointed and is already producing excellent food

An excellent salary together with Managers flat will be offered for this superb opportunity for the right person. You will need to have your own car due to the rural location of the hotel
