This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a successful privately owned hotel based in the centre of a West Sussex town.

The right candidate for this role of Head Chef may currently be a Senior Sous Chef who is ready to go to the next level in terms of career progression, or may already hold a similar position and be seeking a new challenge.
You will need to have proven kitchen experience of food preparation and cooking within a quality three star hotel or restaurant in order to successfully manage the restaurant and function business.

This role of Head Chef you will offer the opportunity of running and managing the kitchen, leading, and developing the existing team.
You will need to be creative and demonstrate the ability preparing food using fresh ingredients from local suppliers.

It will be essential that you have a clear understanding of food cost and have experience of ensuring the best prices from suppliers.

This role will require your input and ideas to move the business forwards as part of the management team so it will be important that you have not lost your passion for food and hospitality.

All candidates must be eligible to live and work within the UK and have the relevant kitchen experience in order to be considered for this role.

You will need to have your own transport due to the location of the property. It will be an advantage for you to live within Mid Sussex
