This is a great opportunity for a Commis Chef to join a beautiful privately owned country house hotel based in Sussex close to Crawley with two-rosette restaurant.

The right person for this exciting role will currently be employed as Commis Chef within a hotel or restaurant for at least one year and preferably to 2 Rosette standard although this is not essential or you may be a recent college leaver looking for your first position

As Commis Chef you will need to have experience of food preparation and cooking using fresh ingredients either within a hotel kitchen or a restaurant

You will have the benefit of working with a first class Head Chef who will give you the relevant training for the kitchen and your career development

What we will need from you is commitment, good working attitude and genuine passion for food and cooking as well as taking great pride in your work

A salary package of up to £13k will be offered for this position together with excellent working conditions. Live in will be available

It will be an advantage to have your own transport ie car due to the location of the hotel, but this is not essential
