The role of Duty Manager is for a luxury, privately owned four star hotel based in Mid Kent and has recently undergone extensive refurbishment including the addition of a smart new fine dining restaurant.
As Duty Manager, you will be a key part of the management structure, which will involve assisting fellow managers during busy times, and this can be anything from Reception to one of the Food and Beverage departments such as main restaurant or banqueting.
You will have the benefit of working with dedicated and professional people who will ensure you receive relevant training in order to deliver the best standards in terms of service.
The Duty Manager role will offer variety on a daily basis, so if you thrive on taking on new challenges and responsibility, enjoy being part of a busy environment, and using your people skills, then this role will be the right one for you.
It will be essential that you have previous senior experience of Restaurant Operations or Conference and Events of at least 2 years within a good quality and busy hotel operation.
There will of course be times when you will be expected to deputise for management or Head of Department so its important that you have a flexible attitude and willing manner.
