Kerry Turner

As Director of OCC Recruitment, Kerry was instrumental in the launch of OCC Recruitment in 2003 after more than 25 years working within the hospitality industry for some of the most prestigious hotels in London and the South East. He started his career in 1978 in London where he received classical training at London's Mayfair Hotel and The Cafe Royal within most aspects of hospitality. In 1984 he relocated to Sussex to take up his first management role working with a sucessful and well-known country house hotel group for a further 18 years.

Kerry is passionate about the “people” aspect of the business and understands the complexities that exist within it which ultimately determine the success and growth of any hospitality. Until May 2008 he was Sussex Branch chairman of the Institute of Hospitality (IOH) for 5 years and today, as Membership Secretary, he continues an active role within Sussex Branch IOH. 
 

Jeremy Ornellas

Jeremy founded Occupational Counselling Consultants in 1995. He is a UKRCP Independent Counsellor accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), an accredited coach, trained mentor and counselling & coaching supervisor. Previously he spent over 20 years working within the Media, Sales and Marketing Industries and the last six years within Media Recruitment where he later became a Director with one of the leading media recruitment consultancies in the UK.

He has contributed on radio, addressing the impact of redundancy in the work place, written articles on “workplace” issues for magazines and contributed to “The Trainee Handbook – A guide for Counselling & Psychotherapy trainees” published by Sage in 1999 & 2005.

Today he works with organisations as a performance & business coach, counsellor & mentor providing tailored development programmes for the key assets of any business – its people –assisting them to optimise staff and team performance, increase profitability whilst building and maintaining a happy, contented and productive workforce.
